Through Sagepoint Energy, we develop and operate renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities that transform waste from dairy farms and landfills into a clean, low-carbon fuel.

About us
Sagepoint Logistics is a for-hire dedicated truckload carrier fueled by Renewable Natural Gas produced at Sagepoint Energy's own facilities. Our vertically integrated model allows us to deliver what others can't — reliable capacity, long-term pricing stability, and sustainable shipping that never asks you to sacrifice performance.

Experienced Management Team
Aaron Johnson
Chief Executive Officer
Aaron Johnson is a seasoned CEO with 35 years of broad experience in the energy and utility industry. Prior to Sagepoint Energy, Aaron was President of Kinder Morgan’s RNG business unit leading over $1 billion of investment in less than 2 years. Prior to Kinder Morgan, Aaron was CEO and founder of Kinetrex Energy, the Midwest’s leading LNG and RNG company, which at the time of its sale in 2021, had roughly 10% of the U.S. transport RNG under contract. Prior to Kinetrex, Aaron served in various leadership roles within the energy and utility industry. Aaron holds a B.S. in accounting including his CPA certification, an MBA in finance, as well as a law degree.
Brian Paplaski
Chief Financial Officer
Brian has served in the CFO capacity for several public and private companies across industries. Brian is a CPA, earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University. Brian was the Chief Financial Officer of Kinetrex Energy that was acquired by Kinder Morgan in 2021.
Karl Crave
Vice President of Dairy Operations
Karl, a founder of Dynamic Renewables, brings two decades of expertise to the construction sector, specializing in wastewater and biogas infrastructure. Karl holds a B.S in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Certified Wastewater Operator.
Dan Nemke
Vice President of Engineering
Dan has over 20 years of experience in the biogas industry and is one of the founding partners of Dynamic Renewables. Dan focuses on process design, equipment selection, and process improvement. He is also involved in the construction and commissioning of the projects. Dan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Nick Soncrant
Vice President of Business Development
Nick has dedicated his career to driving the development of renewable energy projects in the biogas and battery storage industries. Prior to Sagepoint, Nick led a team responsible for Kinder Morgan's upstream and downstream RNG development. Completing and integrating $500MM+ of transactions in the RNG industry. Nick holds an MBA from Purdue University.
Tina Turro
Vice President of Administration
Tina has served in several Executive of Administration positions for private equity backed companies, specializing in mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning and operational alignment, human resources, and environmental, health & safety compliance. Tina was the Executive of Administration for Kinetrex Energy that was acquired by Kinder Morgan in 2021. Tina holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice, English and Sociology from Indiana University.
